Is Nestlings free for parents?

Yes. Guardian accounts are always free. Only the daycare, day home, or agency pays a subscription.

What provinces does Nestlings support?

All Canadian provinces. Tax (GST/HST) and CWELCC subsidy settings are configured per organization to match its province.

What's the difference between a day home, center, and agency plan?

• Day home — a single licensed home-based provider.
• Center — a single licensed daycare center.
• Center Plus — a center with higher staff/child volume needs.
• Agency — oversees multiple licensed day homes under one subscription.

How do tax receipts work?

Nestlings generates annual tax receipts from recorded payments and attendance, downloadable as PDF from the dashboard's Reports → Tax Receipts page.

How is CWELCC subsidy data calculated?

From attendance (enrolled days) and the fee cap configured for your organization's province in Settings. See Features → CWELCC.

I lost my invite code — what do I do?

Ask your organization's director to generate a new one from the dashboard's Staff or child profile page; old codes can be regenerated at any time.

Where is my data stored, and is it private?

Nestlings is built PIPEDA-aligned for the Canadian market. Photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only via signed, time-limited URLs — never publicly listed.
