Inviting Staff & Guardians

Nestlings uses invite codes instead of manual account provisioning — nobody needs a login created for them ahead of time.

Inviting a guardian

  1. From the dashboard, open the child's profile.
  2. Generate a guardian invite code.
  3. Share the code with the parent/guardian (text, email, or print it).
  4. The guardian enters the code in the Nestlings mobile app under Join with a code — this links their account to the child automatically.

Inviting staff

  1. From Staff in the dashboard, create a staff invite.
  2. Share the resulting code with the new team member.
  3. They redeem it in the mobile app to join the organization with staff-level access.

Redeeming a code

Both flows go through the same Join with a code entry point in the mobile app — the code itself determines whether the person joins as staff or as a guardian, and which child or organization they're linked to.

Codes are single-use and organization-scoped. If a code stops working, generate a new one from the dashboard.
